Love isn’t about
   fucking each other
at any opportunity.

It also isn’t about
  how many months
or years
  that you’ve been together.

To me,
  love is about
being able to see light
  inside of the person
who knows nothing
   but darkness.

Day 47 - AFI - Shut Your Mouth And Open Your Eyes
Seriously, THE best AFI record. AFI is an interesting band, and their albums can be put into 3 catagories: Mid-90’s Skate Punk, Late-90’s gothic/horror punk, and 2003-present Hot Topic AFI. Suprisingly with that, they’e been able to keep a growing fanbase, even though evry album they’ve made has been a big step away from their previous.
Shut your mouth… was in that mid-period between Very proud of ya, and black sails, so it has a very unique sound. That may be a reason why I like it so much, its so unique for a punk record. It’s super heavy, sometimes cross-over, yet melodic like the albums before and after it. I only wish they released more material that sounded like this.

Day 50 - NOFX - White Trash, Two Heebs, and a Bean
Yay 50! Thanks so much to everybody who has followed me, all 67 of you. Just when I think no one likes that one obscure punk band, one of you comes around and makes my day. You all are awesome.
Anyways, here one of NOFX’s finest, and actually one of my first of theirs. Ig go this album on CD in 7th grade, and was blown away. I just had never heard anything like it. It must of been the combination of humor, good musicianship, and being at such an impressionable and prime age for getting into music. Bob and Soul Doubt were great rockin’ tunes. Please play this song on the radio was hilarious as fuck the first time I heard it, as well as Stickin’ in my eye. It seemed like every other song was really silly, but very clever at the same time. It would be a few years before I REALLY got what Liza and Louise was about, and years before I got into Minor Threat and Straight Edge would finally have full effect, but paired with Punk In Drublic, I couldnt have had a better introduction to NOFX. A Classic.

It’s really cute when boys talk about their fears bc it makes them vulnerable and easier to destroy
